I grew up in Lansdowne, Delaware County.

I went to Monsignor Bonner, Temple, Villanova and Lycoming College. For the next 20 years, I was a UAW mechanic. After a decade building aircraft engines in Williamsport PA, I set my sights on a law career, and graduated from the Widener School of Law in 1998.

At age 45, I clerked for a Workers Compensation Judge in Philadelphia, and served with the Delaware County Public Defender’s Office, where I learned what it meant to defend the rights of everyday people in thorny circumstances.

In 2002, I launched my solo practice, briefly partnering with attorneys Hennessy & Bullen in Lansdowne. I cherish my freedom to choose my cases selectively, to personally direct each detail, and to help my clients at every step of the process to defend their rights and achieve their goals.

A simple fact from Mac.
And Chris Rock.

Police like to joke that defendants know they have the ‘right’ to remain silent, but few have the ‘ability.’ They think that simply explaining what they were doing will make everything okay. Listen carefully:

EXPLAINING VIRTUALLY NEVER HELPS.

Instead, politely tell the officers that you do not wish to speak without your lawyer present, period.

Though politically incorrect and offensive to some, Chris Rock’s outrageous candor in this 2007 video has the ring of truth. It’s worth watching.

“For many people in need of a lawyer, legal fees are a serious concern, and sometimes, an obstacle. That’s why I present my fees here with complete transparency. Fee agreements can be arranged for a wide variety of cases.”
